## The race

The first edition of Costa Rica Bee Run will feature 5k and 10k routes starting and finishing at [Hacienda Tapantí](https://maps.app.goo.gl/y37RPKjui2bHRwsU8). The event passes through sections of El Camino de Costa Rica and is born from a simple idea: that every stride contributes to the protection of the pollinators that sustain our forests, coffee plantations, and orchards.

"***Running here means crossing a living landscape—flowering coffee plantations, rivers, and cloud forest—while also funding community apiaries, environmental education, and the restoration of the Pejivalle–Tapantí Tourist Biological Corridor.***"
