## The race

**Join a wave of solidarity** running for life, hope, and prevention! The highly anticipated Avon "Every Step Is For You" run and walk is here—an athletic gathering in La Sabana where **every stride has an invaluable purpose**. More than just a competition, it is a community experience full of energy to raise awareness, honor those who have fought breast cancer, and **support a noble cause**: all proceeds will be donated to the **Breast Cancer Foundation (FUNDESO)**.

Your step can become support, hope, and an opportunity for many families. Choose the challenge that best suits you with **competitive 5k and 10k routes** (starting at 6 a.m. from the north entrance of the National Stadium), or join the **family-friendly 3k recreational walk** (completely free starting at 7 a.m., with activities for everyone). Since the beginning of this partnership in 2007, a significant difference has been made by supporting **early detection initiatives** and access to medical studies for women who need them.
